• Social events: We will be having ski session includes the Christmas party.

Trips to snow centres, including trips Chill Factore in Manchester .

We will also be going and supporting Parallel Lines Race Series which is in Manchester which is an inclusive UK slalom competition designed particularly for skiers and snowboarders with disabilities or assisted needs, while remaining open to non-disabled competitors too. It is organised through Snowsport England and Snowsport Scotland.

    • Practice first: competitors get time to train on the slalom course.

    • Timed racing: there is a race window during which competitors can make multiple runs.

    • Best run counts: your fastest time is used for the result.

    • Time factoring: results are adjusted according to factors such as age and disability, allowing competitors with different levels of impairment to compete more fairly.

    • Competitors can receive gold, silver or bronze depending on how their adjusted time compares with the course's baseline/forerunner time.

    • There are awards for individual races as well as the overall series.

The series accommodates several disciplines, including standing skiing, sit-ski, three-track, four-track, snowboarding and visually impaired skiing. Adaptive equipment such as sit-skis and outriggers can be used; competitors are encouraged to contact the organisers beforehand if they need specialised equipment sourced.
